Torx security screw is threaded for use in wood or sheet metal, and is fastened or removed with a special security bit that fits a 1/4" magnetic bit screwdriver. This screw is used when it is likely you will need to remove the secured item but require a high security screw to protect your equipment. Be sure to order at least one magnetic bit per each 100 screws ordered.
